The Londonderry High School field hockey team picked up its biggest win of the season Friday and then made a big jump in this week’s New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll.

After ending Keene’s 23-game unbeaten streak with a 1-0 win, the Lancers jumped four spots to come in at No. 4 in this week’s top 10. Bedford was No. 1 for a third straight week, but this was the first week the Bulldogs were a unanimous choice, taking all 11 first-place votes.

Despite the loss, the Blackbirds remained at No. 2 in the poll while Pinkerton moved up a spot to come in at No. 3. Dover rounded out the top five, dropping two spots from last week.

Souhegan, the highest ranked Division II team in the poll, moved up one spot to No. 6 while fellow D2 member Oyster River did the same, rising to No. 7. Winnacunnet dropped three spots to come in at No. 8 this week.

Two newcomers finish up this week’s poll, with Timberlane climbing into the top 10 for the first time at No. 9, followed by John Stark at No. 10.
