DURHAM – Over the course of four years, the seniors on the Londonderry High School girls basketball team had gone a step further than the season before.

Going into Saturday’s Division I championship game against Concord Christian, there was only one more step for the Lancers to take, and they took it.

No. 3 Londonderry jumped out to an early lead, withstood a run by the top-seeded Kingsmen, and then poured it on in the second half to roll to a 56-38 win over Concord Christian to win the D1 title at the University of New Hampshire’s Lundholm Gymnasium.
