The Londonderry High School girls lacrosse team won nine of its final 11 games in the regular season, and with the playoffs set to begin, the Lancers are back in the top 10.

Londonderry tied for ninth in this week’s NHHSSports Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll, as the Lancers earned the No. 7 seed in Division I and will face Bedford in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Bishop Guertin and Bedford were once again unanimous choices for the top two spots, with the Cardinals taking No. 1 and the Bulldogs at No. 2. Bishop Guertin will be the No. 1 seed in the D1 tournament, hosting Exeter on Wednesday, while Bedford will be the two seed.

Pinkerton held onto the No. 3 spot by two points over Portsmouth; the Astros will host Dover in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, while the Clippers are the top seed in Division II and will take on rival Winnacunnet, also in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Souhegan dropped one spot to No. 5 this week and the Sabers will be the fourth seed in the D1 tournament, hosting Nashua South on Wednesday. Hollis Brookline held off the Panthers for No. 6 by one point; the Cavaliers will be the No. 3 seed in the D2 tournament and host Goffstown on Wednesday.

Hanover moved up to No. 8 after clinching the second seed in D2 last week and the Bears will host Pembroke in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. Londonderry moved into a tie with Bow for ninth in the poll. The Falcons open the D3 tournament by hosting a quarterfinal against Pelham on Wednesday.

Here is the NHHSS Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll for Week 8. These are the top 10 lacrosse teams in the state, with records, first-place votes/points and last week’s ranking (T=tie).
