Manchester West football to be featured this fall on ‘The Season’

The Manchester West High School football team did something last season that it hadn’t done in a long time.

Coming off their first playoff berth in almost two decades, the Blue Knights are hungry for more, and this fall, high school sports fans will have the opportunity to follow West every step of the way this year.

This year, the Blue Knights will be featured on the latest edition of The Season.

Started in 2012, The Season is NH-HighSchoolSports.com’s behind-the-scenes look at high school sports in the Granite State. West will be the 23rd team to be featured, and the fifth football, joining Bedford (2014), Goffstown (2015), Bishop Guertin (2022) and Souhegan (2023). They will also be the first team from West to be featured.

Last year, West put together its first winning season and made its first playoff appearance since 2007, when the Blue Knights were in Division I. Now, they’re trying to build off that campaign and do what no other team in program history has done – win a playoff game.

New episodes will be posted on Thursdays throughout the fall, starting Sept. 4, on the website and also on our YouTube page.
