Memorial football holds off West to win back-to-back Manchester Turkey Bowls (video)

MANCHESTER – Collin Beaulieu scored two touchdowns to help lead the Manchester Memorial High School football team to a 20-14 win over Manchester West on Thursday at Gill Stadium.

Beaulieu scored on runs of 8 and 27 yards, respectively, to put the Crusaders (8-4) up 12-0 and Mo Olanrewaju added a 35-yard run to put Memorial up three scores late in the second quarter.

West (6-5) was able to get on the board on the final play of the first half, when Gio Doria found Myles Whiter for a 10-yard touchdown and the pair connected on the two-point conversion to make it 20-8 Memorial at halftime.

Doria added a touchdown passes to Jarome Henert in the fourth quarter to get the Blue Knights within a score.

The win gives Memorial back-to-back victories in the Manchester Turkey Bowl for the first time.
