MERRIMACK – It felt to Kip Jackson like the Merrimack High School football team turned in a good first practice Friday.

The Tomahawks coach did leave room for the possibility, however, that it wasn’t.

“I thought it went well,” Jackson said. “It might not have but I may not even realize it because we’re just so happy to be out here and have some semblance of a preseason, unlike last year.”
