MERRIMACK – The Merrimack High School girls basketball team struggled to get shots to fall Friday night against Londonderry.
Except for when the Tomahawks needed them to fall.
Gillian Waller hit a 3-pointer to tie the game with 2.7 seconds left and then hit a 3 in overtime, and Kaylee Bormuth scored what proved to be the winning basket with 28.7 seconds remaining as Merrimack defeated Londonderry 42-41 in overtime in the Division I regular-season finale for both teams.
