Milford boys win D2 indoor track title for first time

The Milford High School boys indoor track team placed in eight events, including three first-place finishes, to capture the program’s first Division II indoor track championship Saturday in a meet held at Plymouth State University.

Avery Wilson won the 55-meter dash and helped the Spartans’ 4×400-meter relay team to a first-place finish, while Milford’s 4×800-meter relay team also took home first place.

The Spartans recorded 51 points to finish ahead of ConVal, which was second with 35, and John Stark, taking third with 30 points. Oyster River (28) and Merrimack Valley (26) rounded out the top five team finishers.
