The Milford High School field hockey team will host a Play 4 The Cure event during its game against Goffstown on Oct. 15.
The team will be selling raffle tickets for about 30 different prizes, and before the game, ducks can be purchased for a duck drop. There will also be P4TC T-shirts, in either pink or white, for sale. At halftime, the Milford Fire Department will use one of its ladder trucks to assist in the duck drop, and after the game, the raffle tickets will be drawn.
Proceeds from the game will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. For more information on the event, contact Milford coach Tracie Ibarra at tibarra@sau40.com.
