Milford girls track takes home D2 indoor championship

The Milford High School girls track team got a big day from senior Olivia Rougeau on the way to the Division II indoor championship Sunday at Dartmouth College.

The Spartans, who won their second title and first since 2009, got two first places from Rougeau in the high jump and the long jump, and she was third in the 55-meter hurdles. Viankah Williams also finished second in the 55 and the 300 and was third in the long jump.

Milford’s win ended Coe-Brown’s championship streak at three; the Bears finished sixth. Oyster River, which got two firsts from Maegan Doody in the 1,000 and 1,500, finished second.
