Milford shuts out John Stark

The Milford High School girls soccer team knocked off John Stark, 3-0, in a Division II game on Tuesday.

Morgan Andrews and Mary Donovan each had a goal and an assist for the Spartans (4-1), who have recorded a shutout in three of their five games this season.

Kendra Bonczar also added a goal for Milford while Kelsey Landry had an assist and Christina Vlachos also had a helper to extend her scoring streak to five games (three goals, five assists). Alex Hiley made 15 saves in goal.

Milford returns to action Friday when it hosts Pelham.
