HAMPTON – After losing his cool resulting in a technical foul with his team trailing in the third quarter of Friday night’s boys basketball game against Winnacunnet, Merrimack High School senior center Jenson Monroe knew he had to right his wrong.

It’s safe to say that he did that.

With the game tied late into second overtime, Monroe grabbed an air ball off a last-second shot by Jackson Rosa and put it into the hoop as time expired to lift the Tomahawks to a thrilling 58-56 walkoff victory over the Warriors in Division I action.
