NASHUA – Through one half of football Friday night, the teams from Nashua High School North and South couldn’t have been much closer.
The Titans had run four more plays, the Panthers had gained eight more yards, and the new scoreboard at Stellos Stadium said the teams were tied 6-6.
But in the second half, North won the battle that usually decides a close game – turnovers.
South lost three fumbles in the second half, the first two turning into 10 points for North, and the last of which cemented a 21-14 win for the Titans in a Division I West Conference game.
