Nashua North, South boys set to meet in Nashua Holiday Basketball Tournament finale (videos)
NASHUA – Trevor Labrecque scored 22 of his game-high 28 points in the first half to lead the Nashua High School North boys basketball team to a 76-46 win Wednesday over Souhegan in the Nashua Holiday Basketball Tournament at Nashua High School South.

Labrecque helped the Titans take a 42-25 lead into halftime, thanks to a 24-9 run to close out the half after the Sabers had cut the lead to two points.
Jayden Montgomery added 19 points, all but six of which came in the second half, and Parth Miglani was also in double figured with 11 points. Jack Sullivan also had six points for the Titans.
Matt Canavan led Souhegan with 13 points, including 7 for 7 from the free throw line, and Nate Stiles had eight points and Carter Hayes had six points.
Nashua South 71, Milford 43
Josh Caruso had 18 points and Alize Roig-Cortes had 15, with each hitting two 3-pointers, to help lead the Panthers to the win over the Spartans.
Denis Wainaina added nine points and Sami Witta recorded eight points as South got out to a 15-2 lead in the first quarter. Milford responded with a 10-5 run to cut the lead to three points, but the Panthers ended the half with an 11-0 run to lead 31-17 and never looked back.
The Spartans got 13 points from Will O’Connell while Kai LauQuan added 10 points and Chuck Urda added nine.
North and South will play for the boys championship at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, while Milford and Souhegan will meet in the consolation game at 3:30 p.m. Both games will be played at Nashua South.
