NASHUA – The biggest decision made for the Nashua High School South boys basketball team came before Monday night’s game even started.

Josh Caruso was dealing with a nagging injury to the point the Panthers weren’t sure he was going to play until right before warmups. 

The junior guard did more than just play, as he scored 40 points, including 10 straight late in the third quarter, to help South win a shootout with Exeter, 82-74, in a Division I game.
