NASHUA – For almost 37 minutes Friday night, it seemed every time the Nashua High School South boys basketball team tried to make a run, Nashua North had an answer.
But with the Titans just needing to make free throws to put the game away, their touch went away, and the Panthers were ready to take advantage.
North missed six of seven free throws, including the front end of three one-and-ones, in the final 74 seconds of regulation, and South tied the game with three seconds left before outscoring the Titans 12-6 in overtime to take a 57-51 win in the second game of a Division I varsity doubleheader at North.
