Nashua South girls soccer snaps skid with win over Manchester Memorial

Emily Durette also had a goal for the Panthers (5-5 in Division I) and Marina McIntosh added an assist. Jessica Sweetser scored the lone goal for Memorial (0-11), the first goal for the Crusaders since Sept. 7.
Smith started the scoring in the first half, giving South a 1-0 lead at the break. Sweetser tied the game in the second half before Durette notched the game-winner.
Adaeze Obinelo made four saves to get the win for the Panthers, and Memorial’s Rachel Thibeult stopped six shots. South outshot Memorial 18-4.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Panthers, who will host Bishop Guertin on Wednesday.
