New week sees Concord make first appearance in NHHSSports Football Coaches Poll
A new week brings a new team to the NHHSSports Football Coaches Poll. For the first time this year, Concord is among the top 10 teams, coming off a win over Manchester Memorial on Thursday. The Crimson Tide traded spots with the Crusaders, who dropped out after coming in at No. 8 a week ago.

For the first time this year, Concord is among the top 10 teams, coming off a win over Manchester Memorial on Thursday. The Crimson Tide traded spots with the Crusaders, who dropped out after coming in at No. 8 a week ago.
Bedford was once again the unanimous choice at No. 1 after last week’s 28-25 win over Pinkerton. The Bulldogs will go on the road to face Portsmouth-Oyster River on Friday.
Exeter held on to the No. 2 spot after a win at Timberlane on Thursday night and the Blue Hawks return home to face Memorial on Friday. Despite its second loss in a row, Pinkerton held on at No. 3, with a game against Manchester Central coming up in Derry on Friday.
The rest of the top five also remained the same, as Londonderry came in at No. 4 and Nashua South was at No. 5. The Lancers took care of business against Central last week and will host Nashua North on Friday, while the Panthers won a home game at Winnacunnet; South will be at Merrimack on Friday.
Salem was sixth again this week following a come-from-behind win at Cumberland (R.I.). The Blue Devils go to Windham on Saturday.
Plymouth, once again the top D2 team in the poll, came in at No. 7 following a big win over Pembroke. The Bobcats go on the road on Friday to Amherst to face Souhegan.
Concord joined the poll at No. 8 and will be on the road on Friday against Alvirne. Souhegan moved up a spot to ninth after a win over Milford while Alvirne dropped one spot to No. 10 following its win over Spaulding.
