Here are the selections for Week 5:

Player of the Week

  • Mike’s Pick: Ryland Raudelunas/Brody Smith, Souhegan. The pair of seniors stepped up in the absence of quarterback Michael Fiengo to carry the offense, combining for over four hundred yards rushing and five touchdowns in the Sabers’ 35-7 win over Hanover.
  • Joe’s Pick: Rob Durkin, Windham. The Jaguars’ defense had its second straight shutout in a 17-0 win over Salem and Durkin was right in the middle of it, recording five of Windham’s six sacks.

Team of the Week

  • Mike’s Pick: Hollis Brookline. The Cavaliers got a 21-6 win over John Stark last weekend to snap a 27-game losing streak that dated back to September of 2022.
  • Joe’s Pick: Londonderry. The Lancers went out of state for their bye week, making the trek to Duxbury, Mass., and coming home with a 27-21 win over the Dragons to end a three-game skid.
