Mike’sPick: Luke Draper, Pelham. The sophomore made the most of his opportunities in the Pythons’ 55-7 win over Hanover. Draper ran for 134 yards and four touchdowns on 10 carries and also had two interceptions on defense, one a 96-yard pick-6.
Joe’s Pick: Brody Helton, Bedford. The senior scored three touchdowns in the second half to help the Bulldogs overcome a 14-0 deficit. Helton finished with 180 yards rushing and two touchdowns and had three catches for 31 yards and another score.
Team of the Week
Mike’s Pick: Manchester Central. The Little Green picked up their first win of the year, beating Concord 13-7. Central stepped up on defense, forcing three turnovers and holding the Crimson Tide’s rushing attack in check in the second half.
Joe’s Pick: Plymouth. The Bobcats could not be stopped in their 46-14 win Saturday over Trinity. Plymouth had seven possessions and scored seven touchdowns, rushing for almost five hundred yards and 23 first downs, going to 3-0 on the
