Here are the selections for Week 1:
Player of the Week
- Mike’s Pick: Ollie Service, Trinity. The senior threw for 238 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another 151 yards and another two scores as the Pioneers beat Hanover 33-10.
- Joe’s Pick: Serafin Agramonte, Kingswood. The senior scored three touchdowns on the ground to go with 125 yards and caught four passes for another 122 yards in the Knights’ 28-0 win over Hollis Brookline.
Team of the Week
- Mike’s Pick: Nashua South. The Panthers got three touchdowns through the air and two on the ground in 36-25 road win over Malden (Mass.) Catholic. Cody Jackson had over two hundred yards passing and three scores, two to Josh Tripp, who also had an interception on defense.
- Joe’s Pick: Manchester West. Seven players scored a touchdown for the Blue Knights in a season-opening 49-0 win over Pembroke. West had almost four hundred yards of offense (392) while the defense had two takeaways and kept the Spartans off the board.
