NHIAA announces November Athletes of the Month

Bishop Guertin’s Mike Devereaux was chosen as the NHIAA’s Male Athlete of the Month.

Mike Devereaux of Bishop Guertin High School and Molly Wotton of Dover have been named the NHIAA Athletes of the Month for November.

Deveraux is a senior and a member of the Cardinals’ football and track teams, serving as a captain and a running back for the former. At Bishop Guertin, he serves as president of the student council, took part in the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Conference and won the Cornerstone Award for community service.

Dover’s Molly Wotton was named the NHIAA’s Female Athlete of the Month.

Wotton is a senior and captain of the girls volleyball and basketball teams at Dover. She helped lead the Green Wave to their first volleyball championship in the fall and was the state’s 2012 Gatorade Player of the Year and the Division I Coaches Association Player of the Year. Wotton also participates in unified volleyball and is an NHIAA Student Athlete Ambassador and member of Dover’s Athletic Leadership Council.
