That may not be true next week, as several teams from within the rankings will face off against each other before the next poll is released.
Bedford remained at No. 1 for the second week in a row, and this time, was a unanimous choice for the top spot. The Bulldogs will host Exeter on Tuesday night before a trip to Nashua South on Friday.
Portsmouth and Bishop Guertin were also unanimous picks for the Nos. 2 and 3 spots, respectively. The Clippers host Merrimack on Monday before back-to-back games at Londonderry and against Central Catholic (Lawrence, Mass.) on Wednesday and Thursday. Meanwhile, the Cardinals host Dover on Monday night and then head to Pinkerton on Thursday.
South held on to No. 4 despite a loss to Portsmouth last week, and the Panthers travel to Salem on Monday before returning to Nashua to face Nashua North on Wednesday and Bedford on Friday. Dover rounds out the top five again this week having won 10 in a row. The Green Wave put that streak on the line Monday at Bishop Guertin before they host North on Thursday.
Bow suffered its first loss of the year, but held on to the No. 6 spot. The Falcons have a busy week, going to Kearsarge on Monday before hosting Gilford on Wednesday and Campbell on Friday.
Souhegan, which stayed at seven, hosts Londonderry on Monday and then goes to Concord on Thursday, while Pinkerton, which was at No. 8 again, travels to Methuen on Monday before hosting Bishop Guertin on Thursday.
Windham bounced back from its first two losses with a pair of wins to hold on at No. 9. The Jaguars will host Hollis Brookline on Wednesday and Kingswood on Friday. Hanover, which dropped its first game of the year at Pinkerton, was No. 10 again this week. The Bears go to Goffstown on Monday and Keene-Monadnock on Wednesday before hosting Hollis Brookline on Friday.
