All that, plus a goal that was waved off in the first quarter, didn’t prevent the Bobcats from doing what they’d set out to do.
Oyster River scored two goals that counted in the first quarter, held on defense enough in the second, and battled through the final half to get a 2-1 win over John Stark in a contest between top four teams in Division II.
