Pigskin Prophets: Week 2
Someone turned the heat way up this week and we’d really like them to fix it.
And the beat’s so loud
Deep inside
The pressure’s high
Just to stay alive
‘Cause the heat is on
Someone turned the heat way up this week and we’d really like them to fix it. But the heat is also on a couple of teams that fell in their season-openers last week and are looking at spot they don’t want to be in – 0-2.
Losing the first two games of the season isn’t a nail in the coffin for a team’s playoff hopes, but it also doesn’t make things easy for the final seven weeks. The margin for error becomes much smaller and the pressure doesn’t get higher.
Anyway, with more confidence than we probably should have, here are the picks (home teams in CAPS).
