Pinkerton boys go back-to-back in D1 indoor track final

The Pinkerton Academy boys indoor track team placed in nine events to win back-t0-back Division I indoor track championship Saturday in a meet held at Plymouth State University.

The lone first-place finish for the Astros came in the 4×800-meter relay, but Pinkerton also had four second-places and three third-places.

The Astros recorded 71 points to finish ahead of Nashua North, which was second with 48, and Bishop Guertin, taking third with 37 points. Nashua South (34) and Londonderry (32) rounded out the top five team finishers.
