DERRY – Steve Gaudreau didn’t have to say much to the Pinkerton Academy boys lacrosse team at halftime of Tuesday’s game against St. John’s High School.

The goose egg on the scoreboard said everything the Astros needed to hear. 

After some time to regroup, Pinkerton opened the second half with the missing intensity Gaudreau wanted to see, and once the Astros got on the board, they steamrolled their way to a 10-5 win over the Pioneers in an out-of-state game in Derry.
