Pinkerton ends the year atop the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Boys Lacrosse Coaches Poll for 1st time since 2019

Pinkerton received all 15 first-place votes to end the year at No. 1 for the first time since 2019, which was also the last time the Astros won the D1 title. Bedford, which came up a goal short in Saturday’s 17-16 final, took the No. 2 spot, the highest ranking for the Bulldogs since the final poll of 2024.
Bishop Guertin, which lost to Pinkerton in the D1 semifinals and missed the title game for the first time since 2004, dropped to No. 3, the first time the Cardinals have been ranked outside the top two in the history of the poll.
Exeter, which lost to Bedford in the D1 semifinals, held off Derryfield to come in at No. 4, while the Cougars moved up two spots to No. 5 after beating Winnacunnet, 8-7, in the Division II final. The Warriors moved down a spot to No. 6.
Also moving down a spot was Portsmouth, which ended the year at No. 7 after falling to Derryfield in the D2 semis. Dover, which lost to Exeter in the D1 quarterfinals, held on to No. 8.
Coe-Brown, which beat Bow to win its first Division III title, moved up one spot to finish at No. 9, while Londonderry, which lost to Bishop Guertin in the D1 quarterfinals, ended up at No. 10.
Here is the final New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSS Boys Lacrosse Coaches Poll for 2026. These are the top 10 lacrosse teams in the state, with records, first-place votes/points, and last week’s ranking (T=tie).

Also receiving votes: Oyster River-Newmarket (12-5), 6; Merrimack (10-8), 3; Bow (14-3), 2.
The coaches poll is voted on by boys lacrosse coaches from around the state and members of the media. This is the final poll for the 2026 season.
