Pinkerton finishes season atop the NHHSSports Boys Lacrosse Coaches Poll
Pinkerton’s championship win moved the Astros to the top of the final poll of the season.
To the victor go the spoils, and after winning the Division I championship on Saturday, the Pinkerton Academy boys lacrosse team moves up to end the year at the top spot in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll.
The Astros knocked off previous No. 1 Bishop Guertin, 11-9, to win a state-record 11th boys lacrosse title and their first since 2015. The previously-unbeaten Cardinals finished No. 2. The other two division champions – Derryfield in Division II and Hopkinton in Division III – also finished in the top 10 to close out the year.
