DERRY – Members of the Pinkerton Academy girls lacrosse team used words like slow, frantic, hectic and commotion to describe the start of Thursday’s game against Londonderry.
In other words, the joys of senior night.
The Astros needed more than a quarter to shake off the emotion of the pregame ceremony, and the extra juice of playing their regular-season finale against the Lancers, but once they were locked in, there was no looking back.
