The Astros jumped a spot to No. 3 in the poll after finish fourth in the first two weeks, just a few points out of the second spot, and the Lancers took the final spot in the poll, finish in the top 10 for the first time this season.
Portsmouth was a unanimous top choice for the third week in a row, getting all 11 first-place votes. The Clippers play twice during vacation week, going to Londonderry on Monday and hosting St. Thomas on Tuesday.
Bishop Guertin held off Pinkerton for No. 2 in the poll. The Cardinals go to Concord on Monday, then to Portsmouth, R.I., on Wednesday before hosting Bedford on Friday. The Astros host Souhegan and Hanover on Monday and Wednesday, respectively, and then play at Goffstown on Friday and host Nashua South on Saturday.
Bedford move up one spot to No. 4 while Souhegan dropped two spots to round out the top five. The Bulldogs play at Windham on Monday and at Exeter on Wednesday before Friday’s game vs. Bishop Guertin, while the Sabers are off for the week after Monday’s game at Pinkerton.
For the third week in a row, Exeter came in at No. 6, and the Blue Hawks go to Nashua North on Monday and to Concord on Friday around Wednesday’s game vs. Bedford.
South remained at No. 7, with games at Salem on Monday and home to Derryfield on Tuesday before Saturday’s meeting at Pinkerton. Winnacunnet jumped two spots to No. 8 while Merrimack dropped a spot to No. 9; neither team plays again until May 5.
Londonderry finishes out the top 10 and the Lancers will host Portsmouth on Monday and Manchester Central-West on Friday.
