For the first time this season, and second overall, the Pinkerton Academy football team is all alone in the top spot in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll.

Coming off a win over rival Londonderry, the Astros vaulted out of tie for first with Bedford last week to claim sole possession of No. 1. Pinkerton was previously in the top spot at the end of the 2024 season.
Bedford moved down to No. 2 for the first time this year, while Bishop Guertin and Nashua South held on to Nos. 3 and 4, respectively. Manchester Memorial jumped two spots to round out the top five.
Winnacunnet, undefeated and coming off a win over Exeter, was the biggest mover of the week, jumping three spots to finish at No. 6. Salem dropped a spot to No. 7, while Exeter fell three places after its first loss, coming in at No. 8.
Souhegan moved down a spot to No. 9, despite improving to 4-0 on the year, and the Sabers were joined in the top 10 by another Division II team, as Plymouth, also 4-0, moved into the final spot in the poll. Londonderry, which lost its third in a row, fell out of the top 10 for the first time.
