(Updated Feb. 23 with scenarios) The Division I boys and girls basketball regular season wraps up in the next two days, and even with most teams only having a game left, there is still so much to be decided. 

Here’s a look at what the tournament field for Division I boys and girls basketball would look like if the postseason were to begin today, along with scenarios for the final games.

Note: With the NHIAA’s 70-percent rule in place for the postseason, Division I boys will have 15 teams and Division I girls will have 16 teams in the playoffs. Standings based off results reported to NHIAA.org and other media outlets. These are not official.
