Playoff Roundup: Oyster River field hockey beats Hollis Brookline in OT
Here are results from Sunday’s Division II field hockey playoff action.
The Oyster River High School field hockey team needed overtime to get a 1-0 win over Hollis Brookline in the Division II quarterfinals and avenge a loss from earlier this season.
Eliza Farwell scored off a feed from Rowynn Pickering about four minutes into the extra session to give the fourth-seeded Bobcats (14-2-1) the win. Oyster River will face No. 1 Souhegan in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bill Ball Stadium in Exeter.
HB (12-4-1), the defending D2 champions, handed the Bobcats their first loss of the season, also a 1-0 game, back on Sept. 29.

Peyton Vaughn had four goals and three assists and Shire Kelley added two goals and two assists for the Falcons, as both reached the 100-point mark for their careers.
Ainsley Herrick added two goals and an assist for Bow (14-1-2), which is moving on to the D2 semifinals for the third year in a row. Bri Gravel added a goal and Kaylee Jacques had an assist while Aubrey Merril made two saves.
The Falcons will take on No. 3 John Stark in the semifinals at 5 p.m. Thursday at Bill Ball Stadium in Exeter.
