MANCHESTER – Hollis Brookline gave defending-champion Portsmouth fits throughout Tuesday night’s Division II high school girls lacrosse final at Manchester Memorial’s Chabot-McDonough Field.

The No. 2 Clippers would grab a lead six times only to have the No. 4 Cavaliers rally to tie things up on five occasions. Refusing to relinquish the lead that sixth time, Portsmouth held on for a 16-10 win.
