Here’s a quick look at each Week 2 game in Division I football action.

Bishop Guertin (0-1) at Merrimack (1-0)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Merrimack.
  • Last Game: Bishop Guertin lost to Londonderry 55-21; Merrimack beat Keene 27-7.
  • Last Meeting: Merrimack won 16-13 on Sept. 13, 2014.
  • FYI: Merrimack’s win in 2014 was its first against Bishop Guertin since 2000 … in last week’s loss to Londonderry, Bishop Guertin quarterback Sam Raitt accounted to 239 yards on offense and passed for all three of the team’s touchdowns … Joe Eichman led the Merrimack offense in last week’s win over Keene, rushing for 126 yards with touchdown runs of 12 and 48 yards.

Nashua South (0-1) at Pinkerton (1-0)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Derry.
  • Last Game: South lost to Salem 40-14; Pinkerton beat Alvirne 48-0.
  • Last Meeting: Pinkerton won 29-7 on Sept. 12, 2014.
  • FYI: The Panthers struggled on third down in the loss to Salem, converting just 5 of 14 attempts … the Astros showed they have a stable of runners this season, as 13 players recorded a carry in last week’s win … South hasn’t beaten Pinkerton since the 2008 Division I championship game.

Alvirne (0-1) at Nashua North (1-0)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Stellos Stadium, Nashua.
  • Last Game: Alvirne lost to Pinkerton 48-0; North beat Timberlane 48-24.
  • Last Meeting: North won 42-20 on Sept. 2, 2016.
  • FYI: The Broncos have won just two of their last 23 games, going back to October of 2014 … that season was also the last time Alvirne beat North … the Titans got touchdowns from six different players in last week’s win over Timberlane, including two receptions by Austin Ouellette.

Goffstown (1-0) at Dover (0-1)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Dover.
  • Last Game: Goffstown beat Concord 29-9; Dover lost to Winnacunnet 46-18.
  • Last Meeting: Goffstown won 52-13 on Sept. 13, 2014.
  • FYI: Goffstown’s Andrew Duval returned the opening kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown against Concord, and the senior also caught four passes for 138 yards and a score … the Green Wave trailed Winnacunnet 19-18 midway through the third quarter last Friday, but then allowed 27 unanswered points … this is only the second meeting between the teams since 2007.

Portsmouth (1-0) at Bedford (1-0)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m., at Bedford.
  • Last Game: Portsmouth beat Spaulding 42-12; Bedford beat Manchester Memorial 48-6.
  • Last Meeting: Bedford won 37-7 on Sept. 12, 2014.
  • FYI: The Clippers got some good news before last week’s game, as starting quarterback Cody Graham was cleared to play last Friday morning. The senior then threw for three touchdowns and ran for another … Connor Robert also filled the state sheet last week for the Bulldogs,

Londonderry (1-0) at Timberlane (0-1)

  • When: Friday, 6:30 p.m. at Plaistow.
  • Last Game: Londonderry beat Bishop Guertin 55-21; Timberlane lost to Nashua North 48-24.
  • Last Meeting: Timberlane won 14-12 on Oct. 28, 2016.
  • FYI: In his first varsity start, Londonderry sophomore Jeffery Wiedenfeld had 250 yards rushing and three touchdowns … the Owls will be without running back Jacob Post for the remainder of the season after the senior was diagnosed with a torn ACL … Timberlane has won two straight against Londonderry.

Winnacunnet (1-0) at Concord (0-1)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Concord.
  • Last Game: Winnacunnet beat Dover 46-18; Concord lost to Goffstown 29-9.
  • Last Meeting: Concord won 33-21 on Sept. 12, 2014.
  • FYI: The Warriors got a big game out of quarterback Patrick MacDougall against Dover, as he threw for 137 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 75 and another score … quarterback Zach Miles accounted for almost all of the Crimson Tide offense last week, as he threw for 96 yards and ran for 20 more … Winnacunnet hasn’t won a road game since Week 2 of last season, while Concord was 0-4 at home last season.

Exeter (1-0) at Spaulding (0-1)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Rochester.
  • Last Game: Exeter beat Manchester Central 48-20; Spaulding lost to Portsmouth 42-12.
  • Last Meeting: Exeter won 42-13 on Sept. 9, 2016.
  • FYI: The Blue Hawks got two touchdowns each from Brayden Lowery and Zach Tucker in last week’s win … the Red Raiders have lost 23 games in a row, going back to Oct. of the 2014 season … Exeter has won nine of the last 10 meetings with Spaulding.

Keene (0-1) at Salem (1-0)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Salem
  • Last Game: Keene lost to Merrimack 27-7; Salem beat Nashua South 40-14.
  • Last Meeting: Salem won 40-0 on Sept. 12, 2014.
  • FYI: The Blackbirds took a big hit when running back Cam Wilhelm left last week’s loss to Merrimack after the first series … the Blue Devils had three players – Josh Sibanda, Matt Soldano and Dom Paci – rush for over a hundred yards against Nashua South … when these teams met three years ago, Charles Sibanda – Josh’s older brother – rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns.

Manchester Central (0-1) at Manchester Memorial (0-1)

  • When: Saturday, 2 p.m. at Manchester Memorial.
  • Last Game: Central lost to Exeter 48-20; Memorial lost to Bedford 48-6.
  • Last Meeting: Central won 30-22 on Sept. 23, 2016.
  • FYI: The Little Green got 246 yards passing and three touchdowns from quarterback Alex Hawkom last week … Central has won four of the last seven meetings, including last year’s fourth-quarter comeback against the Crusaders.
