Here’s a look at what happened at Friday’s Queen City Football Jamboree.
MANCHESTER – Andrew DeStefano connected on two touchdown passes to James Tanguay and the Manchester Central High School football team kept Concord out of the end zone in a 22-0 win in Friday’s Queen City Football Jamboree.
DeStefano found Tanguay for a 26-yard scoring strike in the first quarter to put the Little Green up 6-0, and the pair connected again in the final minutes on a 17-yard pass in the annual slate of two-quarter scrimmages held at Gill Stadium.
Jeremyiah Rivera also had a 65-yard touchdown run for Central, capping a four-play, 86-yard drive midway through the second quarter. The Little Green also recovered two fumbles by the Crimson Tide, both of which led to touchdowns.
Both teams open the regular season on Sept. 2, with Central hosting Salem and Concord hosting Pinkerton.

Trinity 10, Manchester West 0
Colin Hines returned an interception 34 yards for a touchdown and the Trinity defense shut out West in the first game of the day.
The pick-6 came after a missed opportunity by the Pioneers inside the Blue Knights’ 20-yard line. A fumbled snap on a punt by West gave Trinity the ball at the Blue Knights’ 14-yard line and a personal foul gave the Pioneers a first-and-goal at the West 4.
But a false start moved the ball back to the 9 and Hines was sacked by West’s Gavin Cere for a 12-yard loss. Two incompletions gave West the ball at the 21, but on third-and-15, Hines intercepted a pass by West’s Mac Maheux and returned it down the far sideline for the only touchdown.
West opens the regular season on Sept. 2 when it hosts Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton, while Trinity takes on Pelham on Sept. 3.

Souhegan 12, Manchester Memorial 7
The Sabers got the scoring going early, as Kyle Archambault returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, and Souhegan made two big plays to hold off the Crusaders.
Down 7-6 in the second quarter, Souhegan’s Dante Savo ended a Memorial drive by intercepting a pass from Ian Maniscalchi. Six plays later, Palmer Belowski completed his only pass of the scrimmage, connecting with David Labonte for a 17-yard touchdown with 4:24 remaining.
Memorial had taken a one-point lead four seconds into the second quarter on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Battista to Johnny Vargas.
Memorial will host Timberlane in its opener on Sept. 2, while Souhegan travels to John Stark on Sept. 3.

Bedford 27, Nashua North 0
Conor Robert threw two touchdown passes and Sean Tierney and Colby Smith each had rushing touchdowns as the Bulldogs blanked the Titans.
Robert completed 6 of 10 passes for 155 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown to Liam Green and a 70-yard catch-and-run to Lucien Mumpini. Tierney opened the scoring with a 9-yard touchdown run on Bedford’s second offensive play and Smith capped the scoring with a 30-yard run with 58 seconds left.
North was able to move the ball at times against the Bulldogs, but the Titans converted just two of eight third downs.
Bedford hosts Merrimack on Sept. 2 to open the season, while North hosts Alvirne.

Timberlane 14, Londonderry 13
Troy Blackadar’s 23-yard fumble return for a touchdown broke a 7-7 tie with 3:13 remaining and the extra point by Connor Ross proved to be difference for the Owls.
With Londonderry facing a third-and-13, quarterback Ben Johnson was hit hard by Timberlane’s Robert Pinault and the ball came out to Blackadar, who was also in on the play.
Johnson didn’t return after the hit, and Michael McAlister led the Lancers on a 12-play, 80-yard drive, getting Londonderry within one on a 15-yard touchdown pass to Cameron MacDonald. The Lancers opted to go for two, and the Owls brought pressure, forcing McAlister to throw early and incomplete.
Timberlane opened the scoring on an 8-yard touchdown run by Jacob Post just 36 seconds into the scrimmage, but the Lancers tied it at 7 on a 10-yard scoring pass from Johnson to Brandon Radford, who also left with an injury during the final drive.
Londonderry plays at Goffstown on Sept. 3, while Timberlane heads to Memorial on Sept. 2.

Salem 14, Goffstown 14
The Blue Devils took advantage of a Grizzlies’ fumble with 4:26 to play to tie the scrimmage on a 6-yard touchdown run by Josh Sibanda.
Sibanda finished with 60 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 14 carries, as he gave Salem a 6-0 lead on a 2-yard run with 1:22 left in the first quarter.
Goffstown answered with a 10-play, 65-yard drive to go ahead 7-6 on a 2-yard run by Carter Cormier. The Grizzlies made it 14-6 with Nik Moquin found Carter Chouinard for a 15-yard touchdown pass with 7:24 to play.
After Salem tied it at 14, Goffstown drove down to the Blue Devils’ 40-yard line, but Moquin’s pass to Franklin Castillo-Diaz on fourth down fell incomplete with 19 seconds left.
Goffstown opens the year by hosting Londonderry on Sept. 3, while Salem returns to Gill to face Central on Sept. 2.
