Results from Saturday’s Wrestling Meet of Champions

On a day dominated by wrestlers from Timberlane High School, it was Andrew Chase and George Tarwo who made some history at the Meet of Champions.

Chase, from Londonderry, won the 152-pound title and was named the meet’s Outstanding Wrestler, while Tarwo won the 182 title, becoming the 29th wrestler in state history to win three MOC titles, and the third to do it in the same weight class.

Timberlane had five wrestlers win individual titles, and five more who finished second.

Here are the results from the Wrestling Meet of Champions, held Saturday at Nashua High School South. The top three finishers in each weight class advanced to the New England Championships.
