Sabers pick up fifth straight win
The Souhegan High School boys tennis team moved to 5-0 on the season after an 8-1 win over St. Thomas in a Class I match Thursday. Sam Protzmann won the No. 1 match, 8-2, over Tommy Williams, and also teamed with Alex Fogelgren to beat Williams and Ross Suleski, 8-6, in the No. 1 doubles match.

Nick Poulack moved up to No. 2 and defeated Suleski, 8-1, while Nate Redington lost to Ian Matern, 8-2, at No. 3. Poulack and Redington won the No. 2 doubles match, Matern and Sheyer Forsley, 8-4.
Forsley lost the No. 4 singles match to Souhegan’s Liam Murphy, 8-0. Matt Protzmann won the No. 5 match over Neil Hallack, 8-5, and Fogelgren defeated Jimmy Tobin, 9-8 (7-0), in the No. 6 match.
Murphy and Matt Protzmann won the No. 3 doubles, 8-2.
