SALEM – Rob McLaughlin isn’t too worried when the Salem High School boys basketball team has a bad shooting night.
Not when the Blue Devils can defend like they did Tuesday against Winnacunnet.
Salem’s defense forced a dozen turnovers in the second half and held the Warriors to just two points over the final six-and-a-half minutes of the game to hand Winnacunnet a 41-35 loss, its first of the season in Division I.
