With the football postseason about to begin, the Joe Yukica/NH Chapter of the National Football Foundation have released a list of semifinalists for the first NHIAA Player of the Year Award.
With the football postseason about to begin, the Joe Yukica/NH Chapter of the National Football Foundation have released a list of semifinalists for the first NHIAA Player of the Year Award.
The list of 10 semifinalists will be narrowed down to three on Nov. 16, with the winner being announced on Nov. 23. The winner is selected by a vote of NHIAA head coaches and members of the New Hampshire high school sports media.
Here are the 10 semifinalists:

- Max Durkin, OL/DL, Portsmouth
- Brody Helton, RB, Bedford
- Scott Hershberger, RB/DB, Campbell
- Mike MacDonough, QB, Bishop Guertin
- Caden Michaud, RB/DB, Pinkerton
- Ty Miles, OL/DL, Londonderry
- Memphis Patterson, OL/DL, Pelham
- Kevin Sheridan, TE/DE, Bdford
