Over the history of New Hampshire high school athletics, there have been several student-athletes with the rare ability and opportunity to play four years of a varsity sport.

Clement Sherwood has been one of those student-athletes at Hollis Brookline High School, but as he gets close to the halfway point of his senior year, he’s not only on the verge of being a four-year varsity athlete in two sports, he’s doing it in perhaps two of the most unlikely.

After helping lead the HB football team to its second-straight Division II playoff appearance in the fall – and third time in his four years on varsity – Sherwood is embarking on his final season with the Cavaliers’ wrestling team, of which he’s also been in the varsity lineup since freshman year.
