Kelsea Bemis had a foot in on all five goals in the Souhegan High School girls soccer team’s 5-1 win over Con-Val on Friday.

Bemis scored three goals and assisted on two others to lead the Sabers (8-0), who are the only undefeated team left in Division II and one of six girls teams in the state. Souhegan is off to its best start to a season since 2003, when the Sabers opened the year 15-0. That was also  the last time Souhegan won a title.

Madison Learned had a goal and an assist for Souhegan while Agnes Chretien also had a goal and Ashley Ireland and Xan Clark had a helper apiece.

Holly Bourassa made seven saves in net and Peyton Kent played well while filling in at center back.

Souhegan returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts Coe-Brown.
