The No. 2 Sabers scored six straight goals over the end of the first half and the beginning of the second to break open a close game and keep the No. 3 Lancers from advancing to the final for the fifth straight year, and from trying to win the title for the fourth year in a row.

Mickenzie Larivee added three goals and an assist for Souhegan (14-3) while Meggie Whitney also had three goals. Jesse Jay and Jocelyn Donohue had a single goal apiece.

Londonderry got three goals each from Leah Walter and Jennifer Thompson.

Souhegan will take on Concord in the final, after the top-seeded Crimson Tide (17-0) defeated No. 4 Exeter 6-5 in the other semifinal.

Concord’s Seneth Waterman scored the final goal of the game with 21:09 left in the second half, and that proved to be enough for the Tide to advance. Waterman and Symmes (one assist) each had two goals for Concord, while Meghan Golde and Jenna Tewksbury also scored goal each.

Erica Estey led Exeter with four goals, including two in a row to open the second half and help get the Blue Hawks within one goal. Emily Urbanowski also had a goal for Exeter, tying the game at 5 with 21:43 to play.

But Concord needed just 34 seconds to retake the lead and cracked down defensively to get the win.

The championship game will be the third meeting this season between Concord and Souhegan; the Tide won both games during the regular season.

Tuesday’s game will start at 7 p.m. at Southern New Hampshire University.
