MILFORD – The Souhegan High School football team ran just 18 plays in the second half of Friday night’s game against Milford.
But the Sabers made the most of them and let the defense do the rest.
Souhegan scored four touchdowns in the second half on plays of 20 yards or more, and despite losing the turnover battle and having the defense on the field for most of the fourth quarter, the Sabers were able to hang on for a 46-43 win over the Spartans in a Division II South Conference game.
