Souhegan Football to be featured on The Season this fall

The Souhegan High School football team was one win away from taking it all in Division II a year ago.

With a large group of returning players, the Sabers have their eyes set on more, and this fall, football fans around the Granite State will be able to follow them every step of the way.

For the first time, Souhegan football will be featured on “The Season,” the behind-the-scenes video series from NH-HighSchoolSports.com. Episodes will be released every Thursday during the fall, with the first one available on Aug. 31.

It’s the third time a program from the high school, located in Amherst, will be featured. The Sabers girls ice hockey team was on during the 2018-19 season and the Sabers boys basketball team was the subject of the first edition of “The Season” in 2012.

Souhegan will be the fourth football team featured, following Bishop Guertin (2022), Goffstown (2015) and Bedford (2014).
