Seven area high school girls soccer teams will participate when the postseason begins Wednesday afternoon.

Hollis/Brookline and Nashua South will both host games in the Division I tournament, while Souhegan is the top seed in Division II. Wilton-Lyndeborough will also host a first-round game in Division IV.

Division I

H/B (10-3-3) goes into the 12-team tournament as the sixth seed and the Cavaliers will host No. 11 Keene (8-8) in the opening round Wednesday at 3 p.m. The winner of that game will face No. 3 Concord (12-4), at 3 p.m. on Saturday in the quarterfinals.

Also on that side of the bracket, No. 7 Londonderry (10-4-2) will take on No. 10 Salem (8-6-2) on Wednesday, with the winner of that game advancing to take on No. 2 Pinkerton (12-3-1) in the quarterfinals.

South (10-5-1) is the eighth seed and will play host to No. 9 Manchester Central (10-5-1) on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The winner will face No. 1 Exeter (14-2) in the quarterfinals.

No. 12 Bishop Guertin (7-7-2) goes on the road to take on No. 5 Timberlane (11-4-1) in the first round on Wednesday, with the winner moving on to take on No. 4 Winnacunnet (12-4).

All quarterfinal games are scheduled for Saturday, while the semifinals will be held Nov. 2 at Southern New Hampshire University, starting at 5 p.m. The final is set for Nov. 6 at 6:45 p.m., also at SNHU.

Division II

Souhegan (14-2) is the top seed in the division, and the Sabers will host No. 16 Coe-Brown (5-11) at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The winner of that game will take on either No. 9 Pembroke (9-7) or No. 8 John Stark (9-4-3) in the quarterfinals on Saturday

No. 4 Bedford (13-3) will play host to No. 13 St. Thomas (8-7-1) at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, with the winner moving on to face either No. 5 Merrimack Valley (12-3-1) or No. 12 Goffstown (9-7).

On the other side of the bracket, No. 7 Milford (10-5-1) will play the first night girls soccer game in school history when it hosts No. 10 Portsmouth (9-6-1) at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The winner will advance to take on either No. 2 Oyster River (14-2) or No. 15 Trinity (4-8-4) in the quarterfinals.

No. 3 Hanover (12-2-1) will host No. 14 Windham (8-8) in the first round on Wednesday, and the winner of that game will face either No. 6 Lebanon (11-4-1) or No. 11 Sanborn (9-6-1).

All quarterfinal games are scheduled for Saturday, while the semifinals will be held on Nov. 2 at Stellos Stadium starting at 4 p.m. The final is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 5 at SNHU.

Division III

The play-in games were played on Sunday and the preliminary round is set to start Wednesday, as No. 8 Hopkinton (9-5-2) will host No. 9 Stevens (7-5-4), with the winner advancing to face No. 1 Bow (14-1-1) in the quarterfinals.

No. 5 Belmont (10-4-2) will take on No. 13 Gilford (5-7-4) in the prelims Wednesday, and the winner will move on to play No. 4 Prospect Mountain (12-3-1).

No. 10 Hillsboro-Deering (8-7-1) heads to No. 7 Somersworth (10-5-1) on Wednesday. The winner of that game will take on No. 2 Campbell (14-2) in the quarterfinals.

No. 6 White Mountains (9-4-2) will host No. 14 Raymond (5-9-2), with the winner moving on to face No. 3 Fall Mountain (14-2) in the quarterfinals.

All quarterfinal games are scheduled for Saturday with the semifinals set for Nov. 2 at Bill Ball Stadium in Exeter, starting at 4 p.m. The final is scheduled for Nov. 5 at 2:15 p.m. at SNHU.

Division IV

No. 6 Wilton-Lyndeborough (9-6-1) will host No. 11 Groveton (8-8) at 3 p.m. on Wednesday in the opening round. The winner will move on to face either No. 3 Pittsfield (13-1-2) or No. 14 Concord Christian (4-9-3) in the quarterfinals.

Also on that side of the bracket, No. 2 Littleton (14-1-1) will host No. 15 Epping (5-11), with the winner advancing to play either No. 10 Moultonborough (8-8) or No. 7 Colebrook (9-6-1).

Sunapee (14-1-1) is the top seed, and will host No. 16 Profile (4-12) on Wednesday. The winner will face either No. 9 Lisbon (8-7-1) or No. 8 Derryfield (8-7-1) in the quarterfinals.

No. 4 Woodsville (14-2) plays host to No. 13 Portsmouth Christian (5-10-1) on Wednesday, while No. 5 Newmarket (11-5) hosts No. 12 Gorham (6-9). The winners of those games will meet in the quarterfinals.

All quarterfinal games are scheduled for Saturday. The semifinals will be held Nov. 2 at Merrimack Valley High School, starting at 4 p.m., with the final scheduled for 12 p.m. on Nov. 5 at SNHU.
