AMHERST – The Souhegan High School football team already had taken control of Saturday’s Division II semifinal in the first half.
The Sabers removed any doubt in the opening minute of the third quarter.
Top-seeded Souhegan scored 20 points in just 43 seconds to start the second half, ending any momentum No. 4 Pelham built at the end of the half, and the defending champions returned to the D2 title game with a 47-14 win over the Pythons.
