St. Thomas boys basketball uses the long ball to knock off Campbell in D3 playoffs

LITCHFIELD – They live by the 3 and sometimes die by it.

On Friday night, the St. Thomas High School boys basketball team did the former, and that was bad news for Campbell in the Division III quarterfinals.

Saints senior Finley De Tolla hit a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 41.2 seconds left, one of 14 treys by No. 5 St. Thomas, and that was the big difference in 71-66 win.
