MILFORD – In an electrifying shootout, the Milford High School football team fell just shy of a come-from-behind victory in the final seconds of the game against St. Thomas, as the Saints rallied for a 41-40 win.

The scoring started just minutes into the game. After a stalled Milford drive, the Spartans were forced to punt deep in their own territory. The punt would have set the Saints up in excellent field position, but Will Maclean had other ideas, taking the punt 50 yards in for the touchdown. Milford, determined to push the Saints (4-0) back, answered immediately with an incredible drive of its own.
